Emmaus Brighton & Hove is 10 years old

Emmaus Brighton and Hove have celebrated their tenth anniversary with a Community meal. Companions (those who live and work in the Community), staff, trustees and volunteers welcomed back the first Companion, Keith, and first Community Leader, Dominic, for the occasion.

In February 1997, Emmaus Brighton and Hove opened as the fifth UK Community. It is now home to 40 previously homeless men and women who live and work together, running the on-site shops, cafe and garden centre.

The Community are inviting all of their friends and customers to come to a special open day on 30th June to celebrate their birthday.
