Leave a Legacy
By leaving a legacy in your will, you can share in building new Emmaus Communities after your passing.
In Memoriam
At Emmaus you can set up an In Memoriam fund in memory of loved ones who have passed away to help raise money to open new Emmaus Communities.
Share Giving
If you own shares in a company, you can donate shares to Emmaus and deduct their value against your taxable income, which will reduce your tax liability. If you want to donate shares, we can send you a transfer form or you can give through www.sharegift.org
Payroll Giving
If you work for a company that operates a payroll giving scheme you can give money to Emmaus before tax is deducted from your pay. Visit www.payrollgivingcentre.org.uk for more information.
Company support
Whatever the level of commitment your company can offer, we can give you ideas of how your company and staff can support Emmaus, increase your Corporate Social Responsibility profile and encourage motivation and teamwork amongst staff.
Open an Affinity Account
With the Catholic Building Society Supporting the Homeless savings account, you can get the best of both worlds by keeping your capital and donating to Emmaus. The Flora London Marathon
Every year we have 5 guaranteed places in the Flora London Marathon which takes place in April every year and for each place we request you raise a minimum of £2,000 for Emmaus. For more information, contact Kelly Oakes on 01223 576103.
Fundraising Events
If you would like to hold a fundraising event for Emmaus, get in touch with us and we can give you tips and advice on what type of event you could hold, how to gain publicity and supply Emmaus literature for the event. To collect donations for a sponsored event, you can set up a page for your event on www.justgiving.com. All donations will come directly to Emmaus; they also collect gift aid for UK taxpayers!
Everyclick
By using the www.everyclick.com search engine, you can select Emmaus as your charity to benefit every time you search the internet. Everyclick donates 50% of its revenue to charities. Each listed charity will receive a proportion of that sum equivalent to the number of people who have selected Emmaus as their charity.
