Birthday Celebrations
Have a birthday to remember this year
Long-time Emmaus supporter Jane Routh is forgoing traditional birthday presents this year and has asked her friends to give Emmaus her gifts - she explains why below:
"It’s my 50th birthday on February 1st and to mark this momentous occasion I want to raise money for Emmaus, a charity working with the homeless across the UK.
I used to work for a charity - so know how important fundraising is, especially for the smaller, less known charities. Why do I support Emmaus? Well, I like the way that the charity works at a grass roots level and really enables people to get their lives back together."
"I live most of the year in Greece and on my birthday I’m having a Mama Mia party! All the invites will have the fundraising info on so hopefully I will reach, and even exceed my total."
To create a Birthday fundraising page go to Justgiving.com and follow the easy steps, please call us if you have any problems. Your friends and family can also make their gift by cheque or cash sent in to Emmaus, 76 - 78 Newmarket Road, Cambridge CB5 8DZ.
