Help us to celebrate 60 years!

Emmaus is looking for 60 special supporters to celebrate 60 successful years

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Emmaus movement and we're looking for sixty people to get involved with fundraising and awareness raising events.

So far our supporters have run Marathons, organised an open garden day, asked for donations for their birthdays and many more innovative ideas that not only raise funds but also raise awareness of Emmaus and our work across the UK.

See what you can do now!

Take up your challenge for Emmaus

London Marathon 2010 - We have filled our guaranteed places. Please contact us if you have won a ballot place as we would be delighted to have you on our team.

Invest in Emmaus

Every little helps!

Share giving - If you own shares in a company, you can donate them to Emmaus and make a lasting investment in our long-term solution to homelessness.

Payroll Giving - If you work for a company that operates a Payroll Giving scheme you can give money to Emmaus before tax is deducted from your pay. This is the most tax-efficient way to give.

Donate Now! You can donate online securely, using the Justgiving website, either making a one-off donation or setting up a regular gift.

Follow Emmaus Online

Everyclick - By using the everyclick search engine, you can select Emmaus as the charity to benefit every time you search the internet.

Twitter: is an online social networking service that enables people to send and read messages known as tweets. You can sign up online to follow Emmaus and then you will receive all of the updates.

Campaigns: Emmaus are collecting stories of the 'day that changed your life' contibutions from celebrities, Emmaus Companions and members of the public. To read these and perhaps add your own stories have a look at the website.

We are also running a 'Coldest nights' Campaign which raises awareness of the lack of provision after Christmas shelters are closed.

Celebrate with Emmaus

legacy and in memoriam giving

Wedding gifts - Support Emmaus on your special day by asking your wedding guests to give us a donation.

Party for us on your birthday - Are you about to have a landmark birthday? Setting up an Emmaus fundraising page to collect your ‘presents’ couldn’t be easier.

Use your talent - Whatever your special talent is you can use it to raise money for Emmaus and have some fun at the same time.

Events in School - Have fun organising events from cake sales to sponsored swims, and raise vital funds for Emmaus.

Remember with Emmaus

company giving and corporate partnership

In lieu of flowers - Asking for donations to be made to Charity is a wonderful way of paying tribute to a loved one who has passed away.

Leave a legacy - By leaving a legacy in your will, you can share in building new Emmaus Communities after your passing.

In Memoriam - At Emmaus you can set up an In Memoriam fund in memory of loved ones who have passed away to help raise money to open new Emmaus Communities.
